TCF Caddie Bookings FAQ

TCF has endeavored to provide sufficient self-help FAQ topics to assist golfers with questions they may have in regard to TCF business and operational functions.

If your question or concern is not published within the following FAQ section, please forward your query to the Contacting TCF enquiry form; the TCF Admin will reply to your question or concern ASAP.

Your input is valuable, and we appreciate you taking the time to help us to continually improve the TCF solution.

A1. Booking TCF caddies directly is not in the spirit of supporting the service being offered to golfers.

TCF has invested significant resources and finances to bring you this ability to allow you in advance, to preview, select and pre-book your caddie of your choice.

Caddies have been advised it is not in their best interest to take future bookings from TCF customers or approach TCF customers for direct booking.

Caddies have also been advised that the sharing of personal contact details between TCF customers and caddies for future direct booking is an unacceptable practice and not sanctioned by TCF management.

TCF’s caddie booking service provides significant monthly, 6 monthly and 12 monthly financial incentive performance bonuses and rewards for caddies; by booking caddies directly (or accepting direct bookings from caddies) you are reducing their earning ability to participate in these TCF financial rewards program.

Additionally, we would like to think you are appreciative of this unique online caddie booking service offering and fully support the initiative.

Only with your full support of TCF can we continue to advance the future development of the solution and offer you new features and functions for a greater caddie golfing experience.

A2. Assuming you provided TCF with the correct email address there may be a delay in receiving your confirmed booking confirmation email.

Often email service deliver can be delayed due to various email client / server delivery methods or networks and service providers incurring technical difficulties.

Wait a few hours and if you have not received your TCF booking confirmation please contact our TCF admin support for assistance. Contacting TCF Customer Caddie Booking Enquiry.

Please also check your spam and junk email folders in case your email service provider has marked the email as spam.

This is unfortunate as it places the caddie in a position of loss of income for the day due to the cancellation of your booking.

Please contact our TCF admin; they will cancel your caddie booking and you and the caddie will receive emails verifying the cancellation.

Providing the TCF Admin the reason for the booking cancellation will allow us to better serve you in the future.

Please note the conditions of caddie booking cancellation as stated in the Caddie Booking Cancellation and Refund Policy you agreed too and accepted.

A4. This is unfortunate but the caddie for that golf course has been confirmed and cannot take any further customer bookings for that day.

Please contact the TCF Admin urgently with your required TCF booking number and the actual golf course you wanted to book, we will review the incident and endeavour help resolve the situation.

The timeline of the caddie booking and your notification to the error will dictate the options available.

A5. If notification of change is provided 24 hours prior to midnight of the day of the scheduled caddie booking tee time we will contact the TCF caddie you have booked to see if they are available to accommodate the rescheduling of your day or tee time booking.

Please provide your TCF caddie booking number and contact the TCF Admin.

Unfortunately, if your booked caddie is not available on your revised schedule day or tee time on arrival at the golf course, a caddie from the golf course caddie pool will be allocated by the caddie manager to you for the day.

Alternatively, you can book another caddie if time permits; you can cancel the original caddie booking by contacting the TCF Admin, Please refer to our Caddie Booking Cancellation and Refund Policy you have agreed to.

The caddie booking system is set to make all caddies unavailable on any given current day at midnight 24 hours to the following day’s 24 hours at midnight. This is done for golf course caddie operational reasons.

A6. Currently, our only payment gateway system is PayPal where you can pay as a PayPal member or via a bank card as a guest;: “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”

We are currently reviewing additional secured gateway payment systems for the future.

Unfortunately, bank transfers do not provide immediate TCF payment notification services thus we cannot provide your caddie booking confirmation at the time of the TCF transaction unless via PayPal.

A7. On arrival at the bag drop, inform the caddie master that you have a booking today a with caddie course name and number supplied in the TCF customer caddie booking confirmation email you received. (e.g Natty / 253)

Ensure you meet your caddie at the agreed meeting time you requested.

Please don’t ask for the caddie by their TCF number, this is purely for TCF internally tracking.

A8. The caddie has a meeting acknowledgment verification function in their associated customer booking email.

The caddie will trigger this function on successfully meeting up with the customer and an email will be automatically sent to the TCF adm with all the details including a date and timestamp of sending.

The TCF admin on opening the email will set the customer caddie booking status from “Confirmed” to “Done” and the booking will now be successfully closed.

An end-of day reconciliation check of “Confirmed” vs “Done” caddie bookings will highlight any issues that the TCF admin will address urgently with both the customer and the caddie.

A9. We hope this is a rare exception but if due to unforeseen circumstances a caddie at short notice due to illness, urgent personal issues or an accident they may not be unable to attend the scheduled TCF booking.

Please request a new caddie form the golf course caddie manager.

The booked caddie will not be confirmed as in attendance by the admin not receiving the customer caddie meeting acknowledgment verification function email.

TCF will be alerted that the booking was not closed in the system and will follow up with the caddie and the customer on why the caddie failed to attend the scheduled booking date and time.  

A refund or credit will be provided should this unlikely event occur       

A10. Unfortunately, commuting within Thailand can be challenging at times so always ensure you have an additional window of time to make your scheduled tee time.

If you fail to turn up more the 30 minutes after your scheduled tee time the caddie has been advised that the booking is closed with a no-show customer status.

If the booked caddie is still on-course and available when you arrive (after 30 mins past the scheduled tee time) it’s up to the caddie’s discretion if they will caddie for you.

If the caddie is not available you will need to request a another caddie from the caddie master, no refund will be forthcoming.

A11. Remember some golf courses limit playing groups to 4 or in some cases 5 and rare cases 6 players, check with your golf course conditions of play before booking more the 4 caddies for a playing group.

Each caddie is independent in regards to their golf course availability dates and times, they may not always be available everyday and at the same time each week.

Unfortunately at this early stage TCF does not support multiple caddie bookings with a single payment system.

Each caddie booked currently will require a single TCF transaction and payment, in the future we plan to support multiple caddie bookings with a single checkout and payment system for TCF participating golf courses.

Currently no; each caddie must be booked daily for a golf course via a single booking payment transaction.

In the future we will support multiple day caddie bookings for the same caddie for TCF participating golf courses via a single transactional checkout and payment system.

A13. Correct, we have a 24 hour blackout period for all TCF caddie bookings; e.g today (Tuesday) at midnight (24:00) all caddies calendars are marked unavailable for 24 hours onwards to midnight (24:00) of the next day (Wednesday).

Why? This 24 hour blackout period is provide caddies with a TCF preparation safety net for golf course operational reasons.

A14. No!, the golfer is paying soly for an enhanced caddie booking service just like any other value-add service based fee.

TCF encourages customers that in appreciation of the outstanding caddie service provided via TCF the golfer considers the value-add of their excellent caddie to customer golfing experience and factors that uplift into their normal caddie tip.

A15. On completion of their round of golf, TCF via the Customer Caddie Booking email has provided a two click customer caddie experience survey link in the email for golfers to rate their on-course TCF caddie experience.

For any caddie rating below good, we have included a customer comment section in the survey form,

A TCF admin follow-up process with the caddie and customer and will address any related customer concerns or issues that can assist the caddie with any self-improvement and / or self-development tuition.

A16. We provide caddies with guidelines on a self-appraisal process during their caddie registration on the TCF Website..

Caddies fill out and submit both (Private) and (Public) information registration forms for collection of personal profiles and skill-set information.

E.g. Foreign language speaking skills (if any) and effective levels of communications in those foreign languages.

How many years they have been caddying and how they rate their experience level..

Are they golfers themselves with a greater appreciation and understanding of the game of golf.

This will allows caddies to fill out their unique “TCF caddie profile” including their language skills & caddying experience….etc.

A17. TCF would ultimately like every golf course in Thailand to see the advantages that our service can bring to elevating their golf course reputation and service offerings and enhancing the golfers overall end-to-end golfing experience.

We are working diligently to attract more golf course caddies on board as we go forward by prioritizing what are the golf courses with the highest interest levels for caddies and what are the most popular golf courses golfers prefer to play.

If you have feedback here on your’s and your fellow golfers preferred Thailand golf courses and would like to see TCF caddies added to those courses we appreciate your input to assist us in connecting with those courses.

A18. TCF have a flat fee of $25 USD for all courses for each caddie booked per course, per round to cover software licensing, Web hosting and administration costs.

This is a very small impose in the overall scheme of the total costs of golfing in Thailand, and we consider it to be of great value for the small investment made.

This especially holds true for international golfers coming to Thailand for 3–5 days, 5–7 days or 7-10+ days of golf; they want choice of a preferred caddie.

This very small investment in your preferred caddie of choice gives you the satisfaction of you knowing your caddie’s caddying skills and your caddie knowing your golfing skills.

You want that memorable caddie experience that assists you in playing to the best of your golfing abilities.

A19. Should the booked caddie give TCF notice (inside 24 hours of midnight prior to the scheduled booking time of non-attendance owning to an urgent issue, we will notify you.

TCF can arrange an alternative available caddie with a profile as close as possible to your scheduled day and tee time, and a refund or credit will be issued for the original caddie booking.

Should the caddie give TCF sufficient notice (outside the 24 hour of midnight prior to the scheduled booking day) of non-attendance due to an urgent issue; TCF will arrange to contact you and, if possible, you can choose and book another caddie for your scheduled day and tee time.

TCF will refund or credit will be issued for the original booking.

The caddie booking system is set to make all caddies unavailable on any given current day at midnight 24 hours to the following day’s 24 hours midnight. This is done for golf course caddie operational reasons.
